Festive fun in Folkestone

Hamstreet Beginners running group in Kent recently donned their Santa outfits and took part in the Santa Charity Fun Run in Folkestone.

Despite the freezing temperatures and the blustery coastal winds, the group completed the 5km course with smiles on their faces. They then proceeded to win the award for the best fancy dress team!

Sandi Starling, group leader for Hamstreet Beginners, said: “We are all very pleased with ourselves right now. We’ve had lots of fun and I’m so proud of all my Santas!”

The group met up with the Egerton Running Club group, who also took part in the Santa Fun Run. It’s great to see so many runners enjoying some festive fun in Kent.
