Working with partners across the UK, Fields in Trust aims to protect outdoor recreational space, raise awareness for the need for the protection of all green space and encourage communities to make the most of the parks and playgrounds we all love.  Nominations are now open for their annual awards, the winners of which are invited to their prestigious national awards ceremony at Lord’s Cricket Ground on Wednesday 30th November.

One category is Best Athletics Project on a Fields in Trust Site and is supported by England Athletics and parkrun.

Be recognised for what you do for athletics and running

Include details on how many people participated in running activities on your site previously, what you have done to increase participation for all ages and abilities, new activities, new volunteers, new partnerships, what the results have been, feedback from participants and your aspirations for the future of running on the site. If the nomination is being submitted by an Athletics Club it must be affiliated to England Athletics. Please include (no more than) two photos illustrating the success of your activities.
