The Timberyard
Welcome to a Trust10 trail run route, part of the National Trusts trail running initiative https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/features/trust10-trail-runs Trust10 at Lyme is open during normal visitor opening hours and is a 10k off road loop across estate roads, through the woods, alongside the moor and past iconic buildings. You'll enjoy a few ups and downs as the route winds through this landscape.
If you come with family and friends, they can enjoy everything else Lyme has to offer https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/lyme (admission charges apply for non members) or maybe just relax and enjoy the coffee and cake.
As a working estate the paths can become wet and muddy within the woodland and there can be livestock in the paddocks throughout the year. Dogs are welcome on a short lead, please check the website for up to date information on where else they can go. Park in the main visitor carpark and follow the Trust10 waymarkers from outside the Timberyard. If running alone we advise you to take a mobile phone and estate office can be contacted on 01663 762023.
