The Timberyard
A 4k route via our iconic Cage with great views from Kinder Scout to the East, to Manchester and the Cheshire Plain to the west. On a clear day you can see all the way to Liverpool and the coast. (The Cage is open every other weekend during high season).
You will also catch sight of Red Deer and ground nesting birds (in season) Dogs are welcome on a short lead, please check the website for up to date information on where else they can go. The route has a couple of ladder stiles which you will need to be able to lift your dog over to continue.
