Sweatshop, who offer some of our Run England member benefits, host the Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon which includes a Mini Marathon and Schools Challenge, and a Relay Challenge. That means there are different challenges you or a friend can take on whether it is a first event or stepping up your running.

The Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon and Schools Challenge is run over a 2.5 Kilometre (1.5 mile) beautiful route along the river Trent. It’s open to absolutely anyone and is ideal for runners looking for a shorter distance challenge giving everyone the opportunity to be part of race day and experience the buzz of taking part in a mass participation event. The entry fee for the Ikano Mini Marathon is just £6.75 and includes a T-shirt.

The Schools Challenge is open to all schools in the surrounding area. Prizes will be awarded to the winning schools in various age categories. All children of school age who enter the Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon are automatically entered into the Schools Challenge, with the aim of encouraging children of all ages to be active and get involved. Please email schoolschallenge@sweatshop.co.uk if you want to get involved and we’ll send you an entry form. Places for the Schools Challenge are available at a subsidised entry fee of £4 per child.

The Sweatshop Relay Challenge is an event for those that wish to run the half marathon distance as part of a team. Whether you are from a business or just a group of four friends wishing to tackle the distance the Sweatshop Relay Challenge is the race for you.
