Get the best out of your running and pushing!

Run England is committed to helping support and develop running opportunities (including recreational pushing) for disabled people, and we're giving you the opportunity to let us know your info by keeping your profile up to date.

We ask for information about disability from everyone that joins so that we can provide people with a better experience in their activites. We’re trying hard to support more disabled people to start running and pushing so asking for this information helps us to know how many disabled Run England members there are and if we’re doing a good job! It also enables us to provide appropriate information for runners and group leaders about opportunities and support available to them.

For example, there are opportunities for disabled runners to get involved in certain competitive events specifically as a disabled athlete. In order to do this runners may need to be classified. More information about classification can be found using the following contact details:

So we’re encouraging all Run England members to make sure your profile is up to date. To update the disability information on your profile please log in at www.runengland.org/login and update your information on the 'My Details' tab.

For more information contact Liz Purbrick, National Disability Manager (Community Participation), at lpurbrick@englandathletics.org or on 07850514936. Alternatively, find out more at www.englandathletics.org/disabilityathletics.
