Last week runbritain passed the magical number of 30,000 runners using the runbritain handicap scoring system and couldn't wait to reward number 30,000 with an adidas mi-coach device. The problem is... they hadn't been able to get in touch with the winner!

runbritain provides support for race organisers as well as intermediate to serious runners wanting to take their racing to the next level by entering the runbritain Grand Prix Series of road races.

They managed to get hold of Louise Carter in the end, and there is now an adidas mi-coach winging its way to her as we speak.

Louise explained why they hadn't heard from her: "I thought it was a hoax! I had seen the competition and thought it was a good idea to sign up but never thought in a million years that I would have won!"

Louise explained that one of her training partners uses the handicap scoring system and had 'liked' runbritain's Facebook page and so she followed suit. Thanks to him she is soon to be the proud owner of an adidas mi-coach system!

Congratulations Louise!
