Good luck message from all at Run England!

From all at Run England we'd like to say a big good luck to everyone running the Virgin London Marathon 2012 on Sunday, especially all the Run England members out there taking part!

Over 200 people responded to our Facebook post asking how many of you are running on Sunday, so we're sure Run England will be represented in force!

Now that the hard part is done, it's time to fuel up with carbs, get some well-deserved rest before the big day, and think about a well-deserved treat at the end!

If you're taking part head over to the Run England Facebook Page to tell us your story and about your charity. Even if you're not running, head over and post your messages of support to family or friends who are running, or pin our 'Good Luck' message if you're on Pinterest!

Live TV coverage will begin at 8.30am on Sunday on BBC One, BBC One HD, BBC Radio 5 Live and online, so don't forget to set your alarm clocks as, with places on the British Olympic team up for grabs as well as the chance to see some great characters and enjoy an all round great atmosphere, it's bound to be a great day! Who knows, maybe it will even inspire some beginner runners to build towards an event in the future, be it a marathon, a half marathon, 10k or 5k.

If you just can't wait, you could whet your appetite by picking up a copy of Athletics Weekly magazine which this week is a bumper marathon edition!

We hope that joining a Run England running group has been a useful and enjoyable way of improving fitness for many of the runners out there, and, if you're inspired by the whole occasion or are running yourself and want to keep on running and improve, you can find your nearest running group here.

Running groups are friendly and most are aimed at complete beginners so there will always be someone in a similar situation to you. Groups are led by qualified group leaders who will be able to guide you on your running journey.

Once again, good luck to everyone!
