Lead the way in Lancashire with subsidised course
26 March 2012
Lancashire Sport Partnership is offering all residents on the county a great opportunity to train as a Run England group leader by taking a Leadership in Running Fitness Qualification (LiRF).
You don’t need speed to lead as the only key attributes are to have some free time to set up a group and a passion to help others. LiRF is an intensive one day course which allows candidates to opportunity to develop skills in leadership within a run group. The course covers all aspects from how to set up a group session, stretching, common injury prevention as well as giving the opportunity to get stuck in and lead a session.
Funding has been secured to be able to offer potential leaders willing to set up a Run England group in Lancashire a subsidised rate of £30 which is a massive reduction of £80 from the original course fee. There are several courses being planned for the region and places are available on the LiRF course being held in Blackburn on 31st March 2012, if you are interested in taking up this brilliant offer please get in touch now on:
