New Run England Activator appointed

A new Run England Activator has been appointed for the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham.

Lynne Smith has been recruited to work with local running team leaders, clubs and coaches to ensure that their development needs are fully supported and get more people active through running.

Pictured above, Lynne attended an event with Joe Connolloy, a Run England leader and David Goodman, a member of Run England, at the British Heart Foundation’s initial fundraising 10k Run/Jog around the O2 in Greenwich on the 13th July 2011.

This event was attended by approximately 450 runners of all ability levels, and Lynne Smith along with Natalie Kavanagh-Clarke (Run England Co-ordinator for London) were on hand to provide information about the Run England programme, and to encourage participants to register and receive the exclusive benefits!

The next British Heart Foundation’s fundraising event will be a 10k jog/run around Greenwich Park on the 20th August 2011.
