Get into the Halloween spirit this weekend!

This Sunday will see a frighteningly fiendish 5k challenge take place as the Halloween Howler Fancy Dress Fun Run – in aid of The Stroke Association – hits Manchester.

All those who manage to survive the hellish run will receive a goody bag with all kinds of terrifying treats inside, as well as a medal for their efforts! Participants will also be invited to the ‘Monster Bash’ in the park after the event.

The Halloween Howler will take place in Heaton Park, Manchester, at 3pm, with registration open from 2pm. It is £13 for adults and £10 for children and there’s no set sponsorship target – so aims for the stars!

There is also another Halloween Howler taking place at Battersea Park in London. For more information about the events or on how you can join in call 0161 742 7484 or email halloween@stroke.org.uk.

Liam Browne, the Run England Local Activator for Manchester, said: “This is the perfect opportunity to get into the Halloween spirit. The Heaton Park Group is Run England’s local running group and will be out in their numbers to support this great event!”
