Welcome to a Trust10 trail route part of the National Trusts trail running initiative www.nationaltrust.org.uk/features/try-a-trust10-trail-run. Our Trust10 trail runs are your opportunity to escape into and explore some of the beautiful surroundings at our places. You can join for 2k, 4k, 6k, and for the more adventurous, do the complete 10k out and back. You are able to run the routes and you do not need to be a member.
The Trust10 at Ilfracombe is open all year and is a 10k out and back following the South West Coast Path to Lee. You'll begin  at Ilfracombe Torrs climbing the zig-zag path carved into the cliff face by the Victorians, before stunning scenery unfolds of the coastline and Ilfracombe. Care should be taken on the public road and National Trust track/car park due to traffic. The route is very hilly and steep in places. There are steps, stiles and gates around the route with benches along the way. There can be livestock in fields throughout the year and dogs are welcome on a short lead. The route can be slippery when wet. The route is unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs as some sections are a little narrower and the route contains steps and stiles. The route is accessible to walkers, joggers to runners.
Park in the National Trust carpark and follow the Trust10 waymarkers for the start then follow the Coast Path to Lee/Bull Point before retracing your steps back to the car park. If running alone we advise you to take a mobile phone.
