Members of Forestry England’s Active Forests team will be joining RunTogether on our next webinar.

Active Forests is a programme part-funded by Sport England aiming to increase the number of active visits to the nation’s forests. With forests being great places to run Forestry England are keen to showcase their venues which are located across England and what services they have to support Runtogether Groups and their leaders.

Through the shared values of promoting running activity, Forestry England and Runtogether are creating a new partnership for 2022.

This webinar on 8 February at 6.30pm will highlight the work of Forestry England, and their commitment to the Running Agenda. The team will take you through the 7 Forestry England pilot sites which have been identified as ‘Runtogether hub venues’ and go through their current running offer (18 further sites with waymarked running routes from 3k up to 10k distance, and running events planned throughout the year).

For those groups that host #RunAndTalk sessions, we believe that Forest running is a great way to provide that safe and welcoming environment for people to engage.
