Castle Point Joggers delighted to receive Club of the Year

Castle Point Joggers were delighted to receive ‘Club of the Year’ from Rochford and Castle Point Sport Awards in Essex.

More than 125 people attended the Rochford and Castle Point Sports Awards, sponsored by Pinnacle PSG, where some truly outstanding achievements were recognised.

The event was organised by Rochford District Council and Castle Point Borough Council and was a roaring success, with a range of people being nominated from across 16 different sporting activities.

A club spokesperson said, "It has been a very busy and successful year for the club with notable events such as celebrating the club’s 40th anniversary, staging the Legacy 10k over the Olympic mountain bike course, putting on several beginner runner courses, and membership increasing by over 30%."
