West Midlands Run England Leaders of the Year awarded

This year’s West Midland regional awards were held at the Tally Ho in Edgbaston Birmingham

The evening organised by the West Midlands regional council celebrates the work of clubs, coaches, leaders and officials for their contribution to the sport.

Stuart Barnes (regional chair) opened the event, welcoming the audience and expressing gratitude to the workforce that keeps the sport alive.

Frank Murphy and Emily Vickerman from Stoke FIT (Friends in Training) took the regional Run Leader of the Year award. Stoke FIT offers a no-pressure approach, offering a friendly environment that ensures enjoyment is had by all running abilities. Frank and Emily inspire new and experienced runners to push harder to reach their personal goals.
