Melton Country Park routes bring 3-2-1 total to 170
09 June 2014
More running routes have been added to our 3-2-1 Route Finder map, bringing the total number of marked out routes to 170.
One such route has been set up by Melton Borough Council who worked alongside Run England to create a series of 3, 2 and 1 mile routes, marked with red, green and blue markers respectively.
Melton Country Park in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, is a picturesque, traffic free and easily accessible area within a stone’s throw of Melton Mowbray Town Centre. The network of paths and tracks provides the public with a perfect place to improve their fitness.
Melton Borough Council are launching the new 3-2-1 routes at 6:30pm on Monday 9 June from Melton Country Park Café. The launch will provide everyone with information on the routes, along with a vast array of opportunities to continue with running activities. And of course everyone will be invited to join in a run around the park, with three groups to ensure there is a pace and distance that suits everyone!
