New 3-2-1 routes added to our Route Finder map!
07 January 2014
Seven new 3-2-1 running routes have been set up across the country and are now listed on Run England's Route Finder map to give you another reason to lace up your running shoes and keep your #runningresolution going strong!
If you're looking for an accurate route near you, look no further as there are now more than 130 marked out 3-2-1 routes across England for you to try in your own time.
3-2-1 is Run England's project which aims to provide a range of marked out running or jogging routes across the country that anyone can have a go at.
The new routes include two 5Ks set up by Haverhill Running Club in Suffolk. One is a trail loop starting at Haverhill Leisure Centre, the other a grassy 5K teeming with wildlife which starts from East Town Park Visitor Centre.
A three mile route has also been set up in Bristol's stunning Ashton Court Estate, making use of the country park's 850 acres of wood and grassland.
There are two new 3K routes in Yeovil, Somerset, at Ninesprings and Lyde Road - another picturesque country park.
For those in the Nuneaton area, a marked out loop just short of half a mile is available at Hollycroft, with tarmac pathways - allowing you to avoid the winter mud!
3-2-1 even stretches across the sea! In addition to the 13 routes recently set up on the Isle of Wight, a new 5K route has been opened on the Isle of Man's Douglas Promenade where from the bay you can get a nice view of the Tower of Refuge on Conister Rock which was constructed in 1832 by RNLI founder Sir William Hilary.
There are many more routes to try across the country, and new routes are being added regularly, so why not see if there's one near you?
