The groups are NHS priority groups, consisting of female only, 50 plus, disability, and BAME and have been set up in the London boroughs of Sutton and Merton.

There are three groups in Sutton, consisting of a 50 plus group, a female only group, and a blind and visually impaired group. In Merton there are also three groups launching, consisting of a female only group, a women’s BAME group, and a mental health group.

If you are interested in taking up running and wish to get fitter for the summer, then these beginner groups are perfect for you! All the groups are lead by two qualified Run England group leaders, who will motivate and support you to achieve you’re running goals, whatever they may be.

The groups will be launching very soon, so act now to join a group. To book onto a group, register your interest, or find out further information please contact your local Run England Activator Jake Waldron on jwaldron@englandathletics.org or 07540 704347.
