Beginners’ Session for blind and visually impaired runners
12 October 2012
A beginners’ session for blind and visually impaired runners will be taking place at Sutcliffe Park on Saturday 20th October.
The organisers have received a great number of offers of people willing to become Guides but invite more blind and visually impaired athletes to come along and have a try.
Anyone aged 16+ who is blind or visually impaired and would like to start running in a fun, social and relaxed environment is very welcome to this free beginner running taster session for all fitness levels and abilities - with follow up support to join a local running group near to you. It's a good chance to meet new blind and visually impaired runners!
Where: Sutcliffe Park (meet at the athletics track SE9 5LW)
When: Saturday 20th October 2012
Time: 1pm-2pm (12pm-2pm for those who would like to learn to become Guides)
