New resources for Run England Group Leaders

New resources are now available to group leaders in the Group Leaders - Secure Area. These include our new leader booklet and a new Risk Assessment form for use with your group.

The resources in the Group Leaders section, including materials to help you lead and promote your group and important information about matters like insurance are available to all registered leaders.

Run England Group leaders receive their password after their group has been registered with Run England. After registering details we check group leaders details to confirm they have a valid coaching qualification including a current CRB check.

If you are a qualified coach with a UKA qualification that covers endurance running (including Leadership in Running Fitness, Coach in Running Fitness, Coach or previous Level 2, 3 or 4 awards for endurance events) you can register your group with Run England and gain from the additional resources, as well as having your group listed in the Run England Groups section at www.runengland.org/groups.

Remember by ensuring your group's members are registered they benefit from receiving news and information to help them in their running, are encouraged to be an active part of your group and also benefit from member discounts on running kit. To check whether they are a member just ask to see a copy of their welcome email with their membership number included on it.
