Support for upcoming Leadership in Running Fitness courses

Two Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) courses – which offer you the skills and knowledge to lead your own running group – currently have places available, as well as some financial support, for those wishing to take the first step towards leading their own running group.

The first course is coming up in the half term holidays on Friday 28th October in the West Midlands. The one-day, non-assessment course will take place at George Salter Academy in West Bromwich.

The course costs £90 but there is currently some financial help for women aged 18 to 25 in certain deprived areas thanks to the US Girls programme which aims to help increase participation in sport.

To find out more about this course, contact Alaina on 07917388173.

For those of you who live a little further up north, there is also a LiRF course taking place at Manchester Regional Arena (Sportcity) on 26th November.

The course is supported by Manchester City Council. It will be free of charge for anyone who will set up and lead a Run England group following the course, otherwise the cost is £65.
