About this run route

Start / Finish

Welcombe Mouth National Trust Car Park (Grid Ref: SS212179)

The 1 mile route runs in a loop, starting and finishing in the National Trust car park (accessed via a rough track), and is a mix of 1.5m wide grass/gravel paths and 2-3 metre track and road (public highway). Care should be taken on the public road and National Trust track/car park due to traffic. The course is signed with Run England markers found on existing sign posts. The route is relatively flat with gentle slopes. There are stepping stones across the stream and steps around the route, with one stile and one bridge to cross and one pedestrian gate to go through. The route can be slippery when wet. The route is unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs as some sections are a little narrower and the route contains stepping stones, steps and stiles. The route is accessible to walkers, joggers to runners.

Please note:

The layout and usage of the marked 3-2-1 running routes is the responsibility of the local authority or further education establishment that purchases the route marking signs and usual health and safety and duty of care considerations should be followed in laying out open, even-surfaced, easy-to-follow, safe, accurate, well lit routes at all times - with the landowner’s permission. RunTogether will not provide materials with which to attach the markers.
