Harbourside Alive 1km and Brunel Mile routes keep to pedestrian areas at central Bristol’s attractive Harbourside development. The running route is in association with Harbourside Alive and Run Bristol and offers a pleasant traffic free place to run in the very heart of the city.
The Brunel Mile is a two lap route, taking in the full 1km route and two thirds of a second lap finishing between the Lloyds Amphitheatre and Millennium Square at the marked point with a blur foot and line.
This route is marked with Harbourside Alive footprint markers on the ground. Running surfaces are even, with the exception of a small section of the route that crosses a cobbled surface.
The layout and usage of the marked 3-2-1 running routes is the responsibility of the local authority or further education establishment that purchases the route marking signs and usual health and safety and duty of care considerations should be followed in laying out open, even-surfaced, easy-to-follow, safe, accurate, well lit routes at all times - with the landowner’s permission. RunTogether will not provide materials with which to attach the markers.
