This starts from Binn Green and drops to the reservoir then onto the road that goes to the Alphin Ridge, ascend the ridge to the trig point, then along the ridge to chew res, stay on the ridge and work back along past the memorial cross and over to the trinnacle. Descends to the track down Birchens Clough. There are alternative drops down to the valley to shorten it if required.
