Longford Park, Windmill Road Car Park
Longford Striders 5K Sunday Social group run. Starting from the Windmill Road Entrance car park, this 10- 13.5 minute mile pace group run consists of mainly running on tarmac paths and a light trail. The group turn left out the park up to the Hall Green Road, heading to Bell Green. Running up the Bell Green Road we head towards the crossing at the A444. After the crossing we gain access to the Coventry canal, and run along the canal toe path for about 1 mile. Runners who would like to complete a 5k can exit at the Longford Road, turn right on to the Windmill Road heading back to the park. Runners completing the 5 mile option will continue along the Coventry Canal section the the first car park at Sutton stop, where the group will either loop back or wait, before the last leg along Grange road back the Longford Park, for a warm down and stretch off.
