About this run route

Start / Finish

At the Boathouse end of The Dyke boating lake

The route is flat, and begins at the "START" sign at the Boathouse end of The Dyke boating lake,  going in an anti-clockwise direction around the lake, initially on a wide shared tarmacadamed cycle path/footpath between  trees behind the lake. At the end of the lake the route turns left and left again, to follow a tarmacadamed path which is 1.5 metres (5 feet) wide and directly on the water's edge, along the front of the lake and overlooking The Rye park, to return towards the Boathouse. The route ends at the "FINISH" sign which is located just before the Boathouse. This is a very popular place, so please respect the rights of others enjoying using the paths and run safely. There are several benches to rest upon along the route and refreshments can be found at the Boathouse when open. Please see https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-BoatHouse-Cafe/288405811205506.
