Starting outside the pavilion, the route follows a short loop within the park, including an incline, before returning to the start. It then heads up to Mansfield Road, turning left at the exit before re entering the park at the Gregory Boulevard entrance before returning to the start. The route follows a hard, tarmac surface throughout and includes a couple of steeper inclines.
