About this run route
Start / Finish
East Titchberry National Trust Car Park (Grid Ref: SS244270)
The 3 mile route runs in a loop, starting and finishing in the National Trust car park. It is a mix of 1.5m+ grassy/gravel South West Coast Path and bridleway (with great views out to Lundy), with a small section on concrete/tarmac surface through the farm yard. Care should be taken through the farm area. The route follows the South West Coast Path before looping back on the bridleway, it incorporates eight field gates, six pedestrian gates and two stiles, along with a number of steps. The route can be slippery when wet. The course is signed with Run England markers on existing sign posts and furniture. One Bench is provided along the route. There maybe grazing cows and sheep on the route. The route is unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs as some sections are a little narrower and the route contains steps and stiles. The route is accessible to walkers, joggers to runners.
The layout and usage of the marked 3-2-1 running routes is the responsibility of the local authority or further education establishment that purchases the route marking signs and usual health and safety and duty of care considerations should be followed in laying out open, even-surfaced, easy-to-follow, safe, accurate, well lit routes at all times - with the landowner’s permission. RunTogether will not provide materials with which to attach the markers.
