Dulverton River Run

Start / Finish

Start is outside The Bridge Inn. The Finish is on Chapel Street outside Dulverton Laundry Ltd

The Dulverton River Run is out and back along the very scenic Exmoor National Park, dogs are welcome. Starts outside The Bridge Inn which is located on the left hand side when you enter Dulverton. Head towards the town centre pass the book shop then go right down Chapel Street pass Dulverton Laundry Ltd, you will notice the finish sign on right hand side.  Continue straight on, the first and the last 1km is on a grit path which does narrow but  is accessible with a pram or in a wheel chair. The next 3km are through a kissing gate, unfortunately no access from this point for prams and wheelchair users.  Continue straight on following the path through another kissing gate on the bridge, this will have the 2km marker. Cross the bridge over the style continue straight on until end of the field, go round the wooden telegraph pole (half way point) following alongside the River Barle back to 3km marker. Again follow the path alonside the river through gate back to 1km/4km marker through kissing gate to finish outside Dulverton Laundry (5km finish marker).
