On the 10km route runners will have the opportunity to explore the wider forest and enjoy the natural peace and tranquillity of Cannock Chase Forest. The route will switch between flat, well surfaced trails and rougher, looser forest tracks.
As with the shorter routes the 10km follows the Fairoak trail before heading into the heart of the forest where you will pass through areas of particular interest including the model railway crossing. Just before the half way mark you’ll start a long, gradual incline which will last for just over a kilometre along loose, testing terrain so pace yourself accordingly!

All running routes at Cannock Chase Forest start and finish on the Fairoak Trail. This is located on the right hand side, just past the Go Ape Cabin.
