About this run route

Start / Finish

Footpath from Keymer Road near junction with Folders Lane

This route runs on a bridleway with existing bike and horseback users which all runners should be aware of. The surface is compacted gravel but does sometimes have shallow standing water in places. THERE IS ALSO ONE MAJOR ROAD CROSSING (THE A273 BURGESS HILL TO HASSOCKS ROAD) WHERE EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD BE TAKEN - there are also two gates associated with this crossing. There is also a residential street crossing, and the occasion bollard, but otherwise the path is about 1.5m wide and free of obstructions. Generally suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs but with the above caveats. Car Parking is best in the Keymer Road area. Please do not use the Burial Ground Car Park.

Please note:

The layout and usage of the marked 3-2-1 running routes is the responsibility of the local authority or further education establishment that purchases the route marking signs and usual health and safety and duty of care considerations should be followed in laying out open, even-surfaced, easy-to-follow, safe, accurate, well lit routes at all times - with the landowner’s permission. RunTogether will not provide materials with which to attach the markers.
