About this run route
Start / Finish
Buile Hill Mansion
A circular route starting from the centre of the park opposite Buile Hill Mansion. The route is ideal for beginners and explores the central area of the park close to the Childrens Play Area, Multi-Use Games Area, Tennis Courts, Basketball Court and Outdoor Gym. Please be aware the park can be busy particulary during weekends and Bank Holidays. Please show consideration for other park users especially young children. All footpaths within the park are used by service vehicles. During periods of heavy rainfall the tarmac footpaths do occasionly flood and can become slippery with ice and wet leaves. Due to the undulating terrain this route is not recommended for wheelchair and pushchair users. Benches and rest areas are available throughout the park.
Starting from the centre of the park next to Buile Hill Mansion the route heads west passing Buile Hill Park Hall and continues downhill and past the Outdoor Gym. After 280m the route arrives at the lower Weaste Lane/Edward entrance. Taking a left hand turn the route follows the southern boundary of the park for 200m before taking the 1st left hand turn uphill and past the entrance to the play area. Continuing across and in front of the former Conservatory the route climbs steadily until reaching a T junction. Taking the left hand turn the route continues for a further 120m before it reaches the main drive. Be aware the main drive is open to vehicles. At this junction the route turns left and heads back up the main drive towards Buile Hill Mansion.
