The run begins on a gravel path which is a public right of way on a tramper trail (wheelchair accessible but a little bumpy). We then head across a footbridge onto a private road with public right of way. There is a limited number of vehicles that use this road, and is well maintained. There are cattle grids all with wide opening gates.
The run takes you along the side of the river through a beautiful valley. More challenging runs over the hills includes some stunning scenery along with its wildlife.
The weather can be changeable and so appropriate clothing or sun protection is needed.
In Dunsop Bridge itself, there is limited parking a short distance away from the start of the run, in the village, with a further pay and display car park. The car park also has accessible public toilets. There is also Puddleducks tea room and a park.
