GOTM: RunTogether Tingley Run Fit

Following a recent visit to RunTogether Tingley Run Fit, we were in no doubt of who our next Group of the Month should be.  Led by passionate Run Leader, Natalie Sampson, this fantastic group were living and breathing everything that RunTogether is about:

1.  We arrived and were greeted by Natalie who explained the session and what to expect.

2.  Natalie then checked us in using the Run Leader app, giving us a record of our runs on 'MyRunTogether'.

3.  We were then greeted by lots of smiles from fellow runners, all keen to tell us about their running stories and group.

4.  Our session involved a 5km run around the reservoir, including a series of hill sprints.

5.  The session finished with newly qualified Run Leader, Emma Lockwood, treating the whole group to an amazing home baked cake.

Well done Natalie & Emma, a fantastic experience for all!

#EveryMilestoneMatters

We were humbled and inspired to read about RunTogether West Berkshire's Monday Motivators. Established to support runners recovering from mental or physical illness, their milestones range from 5km to 10km to half marathon, but a huge part of their achievement comes from the personal battles they've overcome to achieve these goals. Congratulations to you all!
Huge congratulations also go to Angela Hough, amazing Mum of nine children, who started running just 18 months ago with RunTogether Penkridge Runners. When starting out, Angela thought a 5km or 10km were out of reach, yet on 13th May, with the amazing support of her group, she took on her second half marathon! Angela, you're an inspiration, keep up the great running!

Share your group's milestone story & email support@runtogether.co.uk
