SAVE THE DATE As #Run&Talk supports Time to Talk Day - 7th February
During the week of 2nd-8th February 2019 England Athletics, supported by Mind, the mental health charity, are encouraging people to #RunAndTalk to improve their mental wellbeing through running and break down the stigma associated with mental health by getting people talking about it.
All you need to do to support this inspirational campaign is run one mile or further and have a chat during the 2nd-8th February period, either with friends, family or colleagues at a time and location of your choice. You can also join one of the organised runs with a RunTogether group listed (live from 18th January). You are also invited (but this is optional) to post a photo of you taking part and join in the conversation on social media using #RunAndTalk.

For many of us New Year is all about change; both in who we are and the lives we lead. As a RunTogether participant, you may have joined us for this very reason.
Starting January 1st, we will be embarking on a new campaign to invite more Runners like yourself to join the RunTogether community. If you could share the campaign, together, we can help individuals spark the change they seek and to help inspire them to come along and join the journey we are on.

WE ARE TURNING 2!
We are turning 2 years old on the 10th January 2019 and we want to celebrate with you!
If your RunTogether group is available w/c Monday 7th January and want to celebrate our birthday with us, then all you have to do is, email us with the title 'BIRTHDAY VISIT' telling us why we should visit your group.
Not only will the chosen group WIN 10 RunTogether t-shirts, we will have a yummy birthday cake to share with you all.

We were inundated with nominations from this group, with many of the runners emailing us to show support for their amazing Run Leaders, Sam and Dan.
One of the runners, Joanne said: 'the support they offer is second to none' with 'the leaders going above and beyond to keep the group safe and enjoying the runs.'
Kate who recently completed her first 5k in November, said: 'I don't think i would have got this far if it were not for the Trail Snails'.
Kate's merit for the group was mirrored by fellow runner, Theresa, who explained that the group has gone from 'strength to strength' with many people smashing personal goals.
