Can you believe it's eight months since the launch of RunTogether? Thank you for coming on this fantastic journey with us, we're delighted that 38,000 runners have joined the RunTogether community and we're keen to help thousands more to access fun, friendly, social running opportunities.
To help us to keep improving and reach more people, we would appreciate a few minutes of your time to answer our short survey. (This survey has now closed) As a thank you for taking part, one lucky RunTogether Group will receive 10 t-shirts (as modelled by Jessie Pavelka, above), complete with your group name on the front. We're busy planning our next photo shoot to capture more images to help us to promote RunTogether nationally and get more people running with others. If your group would like to be featured, please get in touch! The potential dates for the photo shoot are:

14th October
15th October
We're looking for two groups with around 12 runners in each, with as much diversity as possible. Photographs will be used on the website, newsletter and PR / advertising of RunTogether. All runners featuring in the photo shoot will be provided with a brilliant blue RunTogether t-shirt to keep!

Many thanks for all your nominations for the England Athletics Volunteer Awards. We’ve been blown away by so many fantastic stories. Over the next few weeks, panels with be meeting to select regional winners, which will be announced at the Regional Award Ceremonies.National winners will then be selected to attend our star-studded Hall of Fame event on 14th October at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Last year's event was attended by the likes of Kriss Akabusi and Linford Christie!

CONGRATULATIONS to GOTM RunTogether Kingfisher Harriers!
After a brilliant visit to RunTogether Kingfisher Harriers, we found a very deserving winner of the 'Group of the Month' title! In April 2016, several qualified Leaders in Running Fitness (LiRF ) who had previously led small running groups in and around Redditch, in the Midlands, decided to join forces to form a larger running group - that’s when Kingfisher Harriers was born! Their very first session had a brilliant turnout of 70 budding runners; one year on they are providing supportive running sessions to 210 runners! They now have 16 Run Leaders with four more on their journey to completing the LiRF qualification. The group offers a range of sessions, including C25K, train and long distance. We were particularly inspired by one leader's story: "I had major heart surgery five months ago and I'm still in recovery but back up to running around 7k. I have started a heart rehabilitation group doing trail running, one of the group has even signed up to be a Run Leader." Nominate your group & email support@runtogether.co.uk
