Community Sport & Recreation Award Overall Winner

There are around 150,000 clubs in the UK. Some have brilliant links to schools, some have an army of volunteers and some. Some are the life and soul of the community and some are constantly striving for improvement. So what makes yours the best?

Professional Club Community Programme of the Year

Professional sports clubs are often the heart of communities. So what programmes, schemes or initiatives does your club have to make sure that yours is still beating, and what positive impact have you had on the local community? e.g. raising awareness around mental health and the stigma attached

Innovative Project

Whether it’s through new technology or just a lightning strike idea, many clubs up and down the country use their noodle to inspire and engage more people in their sport or recreation activity every year. What makes your eureka moment special?

Youth Volunteering

The #iwill campaign is hoping to make social action and volunteering the norm for 10 – 20 year olds by 2020. How does your club use youth social action/volunteering to help young people develop the skills and qualities needed to reach their full potential?

Social Impact in the Community

The social value of sport can be any way that sport and recreation can be used in order to help an individual improve their physical or mental health and their individual development. How has your organisation specifically impacted an individual or group in your local community?
