Route 2 is a flat route around the main park, easily accessible by all members of the community due to the tarmac paths, very slight inclines and no steps. There are 2 kissing gates to pass through, top of Royal Ave and near the skate park which could affect wheel chair users.

Running past the park lodge there is a need to be aware of moving traffic from and to the Grounds Maintenance base (Gardeners) through the the main entrance of the park.

In this park there is a Wheels for All accessible cycle group who run activities opening hours vary between term time and school holiday periods, they use part of the circuit for cycling.

There is a model boating club on Clarence Lido who run activities weekly on Wednesday's and Sunday's and a angling club run activities the rest of the time, not constant but need to be aware.

The jubilee centre is for over 50's (Age UK) and refreshments can be bought here.
