Hundreds of people have pledged their #SeptemberGoals it's not too late to pledge yours!

If you haven't had chance to pledge yet, it's not too late! Simply print the pledge sheet (downloadable here) and share your pledge on one of RunTogether's social media pages: Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, then lace up those trainers to be in with a chance of one of:

  • 1,500 RunTogether medals 

  • 15 runners / groups to appear on billboards

  • 10 one month DW Fitness First gym passes

GROUP OF THE MONTH: RunTogether Run2Help

We're delighted to award this supportive, enthusiastic and inspirational group,  based at Gloucestershire Airport, with this month's  Group of the Month title.

Meeting twice each week, every runners donates to the charity fly2help, which helps people living in challenging situations have a break away from their day to day challenges. To date they've raised over £2,000!
One of their lovely runners described how the group have become her close friends, supporting her through difficult times. 

Well done, Run2Help, keep up the amazing work!

It's nearly time to #RunAndTalk - add your sessions today!

With less than a month to go until our next #RunAndTalk week (6th - 12th October), we're keen to get lots of sessions live for new and existing runners to book onto. This can be one of your regular sessions that you invite us to promote within the campaign or a special one-off session. 

You simply need to list your session on your group page (as usual) then add the tag #RunAndTalk. Thank you, in advance, for helping us to help more people to run AND talk!

Una Healy fronts new campaign to get parents & kids active 

In June DW Fitness First ran the inaugural School Run Campaign, in partnership with the UK’s four national governing bodies for athletics and running, including England Athletics, founders of RunTogether. 

Una Healy, one of the founding members of The Saturdays and a School Run ambassador, gives more insight into how sports have been influential in her life and why she thinks the School Run campaign was so important.

Improved admin area for leaders

You will notice that we've made a few changes to how the admin area looks and have included a number of updates to help make it easier to manage and locate information. This includes updating the following areas:

  • Venue features
  • Venue contacts
  • Venue runs
  • Venue leaders
  • Venue website
  • Venue profile
  • Venue administrators

Join our Game Changers programme and grow your volunteer support       

Are you interested in involving more Run Leaders in your group? Our Game Changers programme is in its third phase and we are looking for RunTogether Groups and Athletics Clubs who are interested in accessing support to grow their volunteering support provision. We want to help you to engage with under-represented groups, and support them to volunteer with your group and grow their skills. We are particularly interested in groups who have a vision to offer opportunities to individuals with disabilities (of any age), from a BAME background (of any age), from a low-socio economic background (of any age), or volunteers aged between 14-25.

What you can do:
