Do you know a potential new Run Leader?

We're delighted to say that RunTogether is growing at a rate of knots, with over 60,000 runners now registered and new people joining every day. Thank you for all you do to make this possible!

To ensure we have enough runs for all our new runners to join, we're on the lookout for new Run Leaders. This could be to help you add new sessions to your RunTogether Group or perhaps setting up a new group at a workplace, school gate or simply nearer to home.

Have any of your runners expressed an interest in becoming a leader or perhaps a friend, family member or colleague? There's no minimum standard of running required to become a leader, it's just about having a friendly, supportive nature to help others on their running journey.

To help people who may be interested in becoming a Run Leader we've put together a special package, available until 30th June 2018.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is coming...

You've no doubt received numerous emails from companies that email you regularly about GDPR, a change in the law regarding how personal data is handled. The new law comes into effect on May 25th, 2018, and it's important as a Run Leader that you're aware of what this means for you.

RunTogether takes the protection of the data that we hold about runners, leaders and groups seriously and we will do everything possible to ensure that data is collected, stored, processed, maintained, cleansed and retained in accordance with current and future UK data protection legislation and our privacy policy.

We have recently made a number of enhancements to the RunTogether website to ensure that we are fully compliant with all GDPR legislation.

Use of the RunTogether website is offered to our groups and leaders to help reduce the administration involved in running your group but also to help you manage the data that you hold on runners securely and in line with latest legislation.
To find out more about the changes we have made, the benefits of using the RunTogether website and the impact GDPR could have on how you manage your group please click the button below.

GROUP OF THE MONTH
We've been inundated with nominations for RunTogether Highbridge Ladies Running Club and are so pleased to award them Group of the Month (for the second time!) and to share some of the great feedback from their runners:

"We have just celebrated our first year anniversary and what a year it has been. We started with 30 ladies that couldn't run into ladies that can now run 5k and 10k with ease and some of us have even just completed our second  half marathon. This year has been truly life changing and have made so many friends through it. So proud to belong to HLRC" -Linda

"An inspirational and amazing club with very supportive ladies week in and week out. "-Lindsey

"Here in Somerset raising money for local charities as well as promoting the health benefits of running to all we cross paths with. The club really has changed my life and I can see us being together for years to come."-Sarah
