Have you completed a LiRF (Leadership in Running Fitness) qualification and are you looking to move from leading to coaching? Then our CiRF (Coach in Running Fitness) qualification is for you!
England Athletics launched the Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) qualification as a progression from the Leadership in Running Fitness qualification (equivalent to old Level 1 or Coaching Assistant qualifications) and it is aimed at those who wish to work primarily with adult endurance athletes with a specific competition or performance target in mind.
A CiRF course is due to be held at Teeside University, Middlesbrough on 1-2 February and there are a few spaces remaining. Day three will be on Sunday 6 April 2014 with the assessment taking place on Saturday 13 or Sunday 14 September 2014. The new price for affiliated England Athletics club members is just £250, and those who wish to attend the Teeside course will have their applications fast-tracked. Deadline for applications is noon on Monday 27 January and those wishing to apply should contact Debbie Beresford (Education Coordinator) directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
