A year on from the Paralympics - demand high for Glasgow 2014 tickets
29 August 2013
The London 2012 Paralympic Games began one year ago, and already we're looking forward to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games where there will also be plenty of Para-Sport events.
Tickets are on sale for Glasgow 2014 where you will be able to support the England athletes in action in Hampden Park and on the Glasgow City Marathon course.
Although demand has been very high, the public has until 16 September to get applications in for tickets, after which point there will be a draw to decide allocations.
The Glasgow 2014 Official Ticketing Guide gives details of how you can access to one million seats at the heart of the Games live action, across 17 sports. The Ticketing Guide, featuring stunning athletic imagery from across the sports programme, sets out full details how everyone can be part of an accessible and affordable Commonwealth Games. You can find out more about ticket sales at www.glasgow2014.com/tickets.
If you want to view a full schedule for Athletics download a copy of the www.glasgow2014.com/tickets/official-ticketing-guide from the Glasgow 2014 website. The full schedule for track and field and the marathon is on page 63 of the Guide.
The Commonwealth Games will be a fantastic opportunity to see one of the biggest track and field team's England has ever sent to a Commonwealth Games compete against some of the best athletes from around the world, and will no doubt inspire many more people to get involved with athletics.
