A great day at the Bupa Great North Run
17 September 2012
Run England were at this year’s Bupa Great North Run, with a stand on the quayside next to the Sage, to let people know about how they can get more active more often through running.
The team offered guidance to participants and supporters on how they can go about finding their local Run England running group
to either continue running beyond the great run or start running if being a part of the race atmosphere them want to get involved.
This year, thanks to a kind donation from Sennheiser, there was a prize draw for all those registering to Run England at the Bupa Great North Run Show with an amazing six pairs of Sennheiser CX 680 Sport Headphones on offer – worth more than £50 each.
The Run England stand at the Bupa Great North Show was buzzing throughout the day with more than 200 people signing up to the free programme – which offers plenty of great benefits – £15 running shoe voucher from Sweatshop – as well as the opportunity to be a part of England Athletics’ official recreational running community.
The six lucky winners will be announced soon so watch this space! And if you were in the north east either participating or supporting at the Bupa Great North 5k and the Bupa Junior & Mini Great North Run, let us know
how your day went!
