Experience the buzz of taking part in the Ikano Mini Marathon & Schools Challenge organised by Sweatshop Events as part of the Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham on Sunday 30th September 2012.
In tune with a summer of sport like no other, the event offers all ages and abilities the chance to walk, jog or run in a fun community 1.5 mile (2.5Km) race with parents, teachers, friends and siblings. So why not join in the fun with the family or some friends!
Open to runners of all ages and abilities, the Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon starts at 9.50am at Victoria Embankment in Nottingham. The entry fee for the Ikano Mini Marathon is just £6.75 and includes a T-shirt.
Vivienne Saunders, Communications Manager at Ikano Financial Services, said: “The Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon and the Schools Challenge offer everyone a chance to get involved in what is shaping up to be a fantastic day. You don’t even have to run the full mile, it really is the taking part that counts. We actively encourage everyone to put their running shoes on and get involved.”
