Royal Caribbean Runners group celebrate second anniversary
12 November 2012
Congratulations to Sussex-based running group Royal Caribbean Runners - J and M Running, who recently celebrated their second anniversary!
The Haywards Heath based group has been meeting regularly for the last two years and recently became a part of the Royal Caribbean Runners project. Joint group leader, Julie Essex, said: "Some of our runners have developed in that time from absolute beginners to regularly taking part in Saturday parkruns and even half marathons. Most of all, though, we just enjoy ourselves!"
Julie organises this group and another complete beginners group with Marion Hemsworth who recently took on the role of Sussex Running Activator.
Royal Caribbean Runners is an exciting initiative from Royal Caribbean International, Sport England and Run England, aimed at promoting health and fitness through the creation of organised running groups. Please click here for more information.
