About this run route
Start / Finish
Start outside the Chapel, Green Street. Finish the Old Farmyard
This is your opportunity to run part of Wiltshire's prehistoric landscape around Avebury. Our route is a circular, 10K starting on the edge of the village, up onto the Ridgeway and around Silbury Hill. A varied, challenging route which involves some road crossings with stunning views across the wider Avebury landscape.
You can run this route for free during normal visitor opening times, be sure to download the route as this is a 'protected' landscape and we are unable to display waymarkers to guide you around. If you come with family and friends, they can enjoy everything else Avebury has to offer www.nationaltrust.org.uk/avebury or maybe just relax and enjoy the coffee and cake (admission and parking charges apply for non members) whilst you run!
