Catch the ferry and cross the water and escape to Brownsea Island to check out a unique 5k run which will immerse you within thriving natural habitats that have created havens for wildlife. Open to all (for non National Trust members an admission charge is payable) enjoy a run which changes with the seasons and the tides, relaxing in the Vilano Cafe afterwards, for coffee or lunch.
As Brownsea is such a natural environment, we are not installing way markers. So to navigate your way around either download the route onto your mobile device or print it off before you get here, as mobile reception can be also be intermittent.

The layout and usage of the marked 3-2-1 running routes is the responsibility of the local authority or further education establishment that purchases the route marking signs and usual health and safety and duty of care considerations should be followed in laying out open, even-surfaced, easy-to-follow, safe, accurate, well lit routes at all times - with the landowner’s permission.
