We have just launched an exciting media campaign across national and regional press. The campaign focuses on the benefits of running together and highlights that our fun, friendly and supportive RunTogether groups are for everyone.

The campaign will drive traffic to the RunTogether website where new runners will be looking to join sessions across the country. Please give all new runners a warm welcome!

Group of the Month:
RunTogether Wolds Wannabees

We are pleased to present our brilliant Group of the Month RunTogether Wolds Wannabees They are headed up by the amazing Run Leaders, Anne, Pete, Steven and Tracy.

Speaking to Pete, he said “I am so proud of what we have achieved.  We have had runners who were struggling at the first corner who now regularly run 3.5 miles comfortably." Pete is also responsible for the RunTogether administration, on this he said, “The RunTogether site is easy to use and is a good way to keeping track of the runners in the group.  If ever I have had any issues I have phoned the support line who have been brilliant in sorting out my queries.”
Speaking to Anne about why she became a leader she said, "I became a leader because my running was slowing down a bit and I thought it was time to help others.  Taking people out and seeing them enjoy running is brilliant, it's as much if not more enjoyable than achieving something yourself.”
One runner, Bev said "I started running with the Wannabees in March this year and have never looked back.  I have taken to running late in life having never run before.  I can’t tell you how supportive the group have been, especially Pete and Anne.  In a short space of time, I have progressed from the Wannabees to the Wolds Vets, competing in several Park Runs and two 10Ks this year. I would never have achieved this without the encouragement I have had from this group, I can't thank Pete and Anne enough.”

This group is great at listing sessions on the RunTogether website, checking everyone in and actively engaging with their runners across social media. If your group #BookCheckInRun and think you deserve to win next months GOTM title, email us!  Tell us why your group are amazing and you could WIN 10 RunTogether water bottles.

#CaptionCompetition

Following our weekly RunTogether visits we are hosting a #CaptionCompetition across RunTogether social media, giving our runners the chance to WIN a RunTogether t-shirt. During your group visit, we would love for all Run Leaders and their groups to take part in a fun picture or short video/boomerang which we can use in the #CaptionCompetition. Be as creative as you like, sing, dance or do your warm up! We will ask the RunTogether community to 'caption it' across social media, the best caption will WIN a t-shirt.
