Unsung heroes of the month

Congratulations to DW Fitness First’s December Group of the Month: RunTogether Just Run Hunmanby.

Nominated by Group Leader, Zoe Ruston, she got in touch to tell us about her brilliant group. Having just recently completed their first 5km, this ‘Keep Me Going’ group have continued to run together every week as they have “formed amazing friendships in 10 weeks”. Zoe told us, “Not only have they amazed me with their determination, support of each other and drive to succeed, they have helped me return to running after having my baby in January and regain much needed confidence. They are quite simply awesome!”. They sound like a hugely supportive group and we believe Just Run Hunmanby are deserving winners of the final DW Fitness First GOTM title for 2019.

December Run Leader of the Month: Zoe Lambert of RunTogether Chieveley Rec Runners.

Cathy Flynn got in touch to tell us about Run Leader Zoe, describing why she deserves to win the title in December! “Zoe maps out some beautiful runs for us all, across the fields and local countryside during the winter months.” Organising “run and retreat sessions, interval sessions, timed runs and also strengthening sessions”, it is clear that Zoe along with the other Run Leaders in the group, offer a wide range of activities for their runners, keeping sessions exciting and engaging each week. Cathy goes on to say “Zoe is a fantastic Run Leader, she loves her Run Leader role and nothing is too much trouble.” It is clear to us just how committed Zoe is to her group and we think she is a very deserving winner of the DW Fitness First, Run Leader of the Month title.

Congratulations Zoe, you have won a pair of running shoes courtesy of DW Fitness First.
