5k distance completed in style by Chippenham's Autumn beginners

Some may have thought it impossible just 10 weeks ago that they would achieve a 5k run. The latest beginner group in Chippenham worked hard and not only did everyone finish but clocked have some very impressive times indeed.

Run Leader Nicky said, "The turnout to Saturday's Park Run was astounding... 48 Beginners, numerous buddy runners, helpers, cake makers and supporters... Amazing."

From here the new runners can join "progression packs" groups with Chippenham Harriers to gradually increase their non stop running distances, there are groups to cover all abilities, so something for everyone.
